HAVE GUITAR – WILL TRAVEL

What do we do?? Well, that’s easy. Through the years, I’ve managed to learn 1000+ songs, ranging from the 1800’s to present day…some even earlier! We play at retirement communities, assisted-living facilities, memory cares, skilled nursing centers, etc. We are also available, upon request, to play at other special functions (e.g. birthday parties, anniversaries, etc. – both public and private). I play guitar and sing songs chosen by the listeners from song-title books we provide. My wife/partner Jill encourages the residents to participate, but is rather microphone shy and leaves most of the singing to me. We do charge a nominal fee for “for-profit” facilities, but we volunteer our services for non-profit entities. We consider our performances a type of “ministry”, and we’ve found that we enjoy entertaining the seniors as much as they enjoy listening. It’s been a wonderful double blessing!
