We so much enjoy entertaining folks…especially seniors. The songs we perform are, for the most part, songs that they knew and enjoyed during years past. The newer songs seldom are appreciated by the elderly among us; but seniors can, and do, relate to the good old standards! It is always a delight to have someone request a favorite song from the 1150+ songs we do and then hear them singing along. Although our music may not be everyone’s “cup of tea,” we are very pleased to have heard so many positive comments about our performances. I often say to our audiences, “If you’ve had as much fun listening as we’ve had performing for you…we’ve all had a great time!” Several of our “fans” have graciously agreed to share their thoughts here on my website, and I am pleased to share them with you. May God bless you all. “Happy Trails” until we meet again!

*** “Good afternoon Curt & Jill.  I sincerely apologize for not being able to see your performance as I was on vacation, but I wanted to provide some feedback I have received from our residents.  The residents of Hope Haven reported that it was an absolute pleasure  to have you at our facility and that your performance was “over-the-top phenomenal”!  They did not know what to expect as I kept your visit a surprise until the day you arrived, but they happily reported that they loved Curt’s voice and all the songs he sang.  They would like to see you back again if you ever happen to stop by the Hope, Arkansas area.  And, they also said they would love to take a short road trip to see you in a nearby town if you ever happen to stop by Little Rock or Hot Springs — that may be an idea for the future outside of COVID-19!  You made such a wonderful impact on our residents that day and the joy I can see radiating from them almost a week later after your performance truly lets me know that your work was appreciated.  Even days later they are telling stories about how wonderful you sang and how friendly and interactive you were with the group —  not to mention you played some of their favorites!  If you happen to stop by again, give us a call, we would be happy to have you.  And I would like to personally thank you for the CD’s you donated to our facility.  We will be using them during our activities and during our craft time for some easy listening while we tackle some hands-on projects.  You have no idea what an impact you have made on this Assisted Living community, the memories you have made for our residents, and the joy you bring to the geriatric community, not only at Hope Haven, but at every facility you visit.  I am grateful for your generosity to visit and the sincerity with which you handle your work.  Keep being wonderful.”  Noelle I, Activities Director, Hope Haven Assisted Living, Hope, Arkansas.
